This one is about sun camp.
----
We haven't seen much of each other
but I've been around
tethering wild horses
to your flagpoles
and lifting circles of sod
from the fire pits;
earth-blackened to the elbow.
I am here,
tireless and strong
because of how your drill cries
cut the air
when the rain came.
Because, like you
I grew here in fits and starts
with Rigdon's blood on my tongue.
After you go
spiraling with parents and luggage
After we pack up the flagpoles
With heavy eyes
I will sit with my hammer and ax
and wait
to rebuild this crystal vessel
and wait
for you to fill it.

Out of curiosity, who/what is Rigdon? I was reading the Hevajra Tantra and during the third part of the consecration ceremony the guru has sex with the consort and then mixes the resulting “white and red liquids” together and places drops of them on the tongue of the initiate. Is there a connection here?
